Project Description:

Working closely with the client, JDMA helped realize Dr. Ahmad’s vision for transforming a dated building into an updated office space in central Lubbock.

The Owner wanted a space that merged the existing elements of the structure with a crisp, clean and flexible plan.  The new lay out provides for a generous waiting area, group workspaces, private offices, exam rooms, x-ray room, lounge area, storage and support spaces.  The exterior façade was rendered in a light gray finish with white masonry and black accents.  The bright feel continues to the interior of the space, with walls painted to match the exterior.  Glass block filters light into the expanded waiting area, and a blend of hard and soft floor finishes provide way-finding for patients and guests.
