JDMA Architects is a locally owned firm providing comprehensive architectural design services in Lubbock and all regions of Texas.  We are registered Architects in Texas, Colorado and New Mexico.
 
JDMA Architects was established in 1980 by Joe D. McKay as Joe D. McKay Architects and is now under the leadership of Partners Alex Gross and Abel Hernandez.  Over the years, JDMA gradually grew by focusing on customer service and expanding the firm's services.  Our office is scaled to allow team involvement in every project, from conceptual design to development of details, to construction execution, and collaboration with the building trades.  Today's JDMA Office has a staff of 7 professional, technical and support personnel that includes Joe McKay as Architect of Counsel.  The firm's diversified skills, technical expertise, and innovative solutions distinguish JDMA from our peers. 

In over 40 years of continual professional practice, JDMA Architects has assembled an impressive portfolio of design solutions including Commercial, Education, Faith Based, Healthcare, Hospitality/Retail, and Living/Mixed-Use projects of varying size and complexity.  Recognizing that each project and client are unique, we customize our design services to meet these individual needs.
